Rehabilitated by AREP teams at the request of the local authorities, the Hoan Kiem Lake, Hanoi's emblematic site, was inaugurated this Saturday 10 October. The festivities took place within the framework of the 1010th anniversary celebrations of Thang Long - Ha Noi, commemoration of the foundation of the capital - in the presence of Vương Đình Huệ - Secretary General of the Party Committee of Ha Nội, Chu Ngọc Anh - Mayor of Ha Nội, Dương Đức Tuấn - Secretary General of the Party Committee of Hoan District Kiếm, Phạm Tuấn Long - Mayor of Hoan District Kiếm, the French Ambassador to Vietnam, Nicolas Warnery and the teams of AREP South Asia, represented by its Director Mélanie Doremus.

On this occasion, the work carried out by AREP over the last 5 years, in urban and landscape design, multidisciplinary coordination and architectural monitoring was praised.
An honorary certificate from the city of Hanoi was presented to Lương Ngọc Trung, AREP architect and project director since 2015, for this lively and accessible riverbank development that respects the site's exceptional historical and landscaped heritage.
